It had been a while since he had been here. A child himself, with fun memories of him and sisters practically dropped on their father to wreak havoc upon the mountain. Now he's here because, well he didn't exactly know why himself. Tailing him was one of his daughters, or maybe was. To be honest it was hard to tell with either child if it was his own or Edrick's. Not that that bastard had any right to either Masque or Soma. They were his as far as he was concerned, blood or not. Perhaps they didn't really call him father or whatever he didn't care he kept them safe and he had the scars to prove it. Scars or not they were hidden in his thick winter fur, however his daughters were not so lucky. That cannibal took more than some of their flesh with them, he took at lot from his imprint and certainly from Soma. Masque out of the lot of them seemed the least damaged despite what was left on her flesh.

Los damn near had to drag Soma away from Taviora though. They had been staying in the forest pack since they had been attacked when they were born. If he hadn't been tricked into going to Iromar they never would have gotten hurt, Taika had chosen to go to Taviora for safety and since they they just never left often. Or he didn't at least. They were not members, the girls seemed more into being pack members than he did. He was willing to leave whenever the chocolate-russet imprint of his was, but until then he was rooted there. Today though he figured he put off seeing the old man for long enough. Plus it would get his golden child out of the den for a day. Despite being nearly two she had the adventuring spirit of a vole. Never leaving the den area unless himself or Taika were close by or her sister. Right now he was damn near dragging her up this mountain, even has his paws crunched and fell into the snow he would chace her down and make her keep going if he had too.

She was reluctant at best, but at this point she was likely trapped on this journey. She couldn't quite turn tail and run now anyway without being alone for the long walk back down into the forest and back to the den anyway. She stuck close to his legs and for that he was happy, the first bit of the journey was painful enough with her asking if her mom or Masque were coming along with him doing a lot of 'if they want' replies. It wasn't like he disliked his children, far from, it was just he had a much more... well Malina and Rogue approach to them. He loved them in his own way was probably the better way to explain it. They weren't babied by him but they certainly weren't left to fend for themselves either. He taught them what he could but Soma was just... broken. He dealt with it though and didn't mind her clinginess most days especially now that she stopped resisting the urge to run back.

"We're here so sit tight." He says once they reach just the inside of the border. He tilted his head up and called for Sleekwing, curious to if he would come or recognize his call right away. Either way he figured he would come. Maybe he would have ideas to making Soma be normal.
