Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

EnyaSeven.Lurks Glorall.noheart.nosoul

She had done her best to collect portions for payment of her stay and yet her abdomen had grown a fair bit and the winter was much harsher than previous seasons. Hunting was growing difficult but she quickly darted away to search for more food so she could rest before the winter bared its harsher fangs to her. She kept the demeanor of a silent wolf doing her best to keep away from others the thoughts of her family slipping away as she concentrated more and more on the tricolored beast that sired another litter and yet this time, it was willfully she bowed to him and nature’s deeper desires. Her thoughts wondered to her son wondering how he was fairing without her and if he still kept the valley, her daughter and the nefarious activities she got into didn’t go without some thought and finally to her tricolored beast she ached mentally to find once more.

Losing herself in thought and hunting have never paired well and she found herself by the ocean losing her train of thought now lulled by crashing waves. Enya sat there and lost herself for a moment before she sat and watched the surf for a few moments before treading closer to where the water collected in a shallow pool. A fish was trapped still much too large for it to escape even when the excess water washed over the pool a delicate white paw reached out into the water she knew it was an easy grab with her jaws but instead laid by the side of the pool with a deep sigh. Just watching the fish circle and dart, biding its time until its inevitable death to breath life into many others. Still, she had yet to bring herself to grasp it contemplating what truly drove her to this pack and no other.
