I do not let my golden and black flecked eye leave the child. Angry as she is I don’t really care. She bristles but doesn’t seem to know that if I wanted it wouldn’t be hard for me to just end her here. Really my intentions were… well somewhat good. I wanted to give the lost child a home. She was alone out there and seemed different in need of a place that would understand her. She seemed to think she was in danger and in some ways I guess I could understand. I really felt for this child. Abandoned by her mother, her siblings, her father, reminded me of me. Though oddly enough my I guess real mother never left me at least… not that she mattered now. Valefor was all the family I needed anymore. This bristling child though, I don’t think she had anyone.

My words elicited something from her. Her father was a ‘savior’ her mother had said huh? But he was gone, everyone was gone. She reached out her muzzle to sniff me and I felt inclined to lower my own so she may get a better look at me and see that ultimately, while I could, I didn’t mean her harm. My ear flicks though and my head raises turning to look at Nevermore then the child that was in line to be my next Queen. A friend maybe, though with the reaction from the girl I could tell she was not pleased about having a second visitor here. I hear the strawberry marked girl clack her teeth and I watch her rather passively as she darts back away. I was not mad that Nevermore came in fact maybe this would be good for the both of them.

”You do not want friends your age? If you think I am bad then please let me turn you lose to the real monsters of the world. I was trying to help you find family once more, but if that is not what you want.” I trail off I do not wish to force her against her will. Let her run out into the free lands and become food for some other cannibal or cougar. It truly mattered little to me in the grand scheme of things. I just thought maybe I could help even if it was in my own rather conniving way. I dip my head to Nevermore then, seating myself right where Eto had left me. Let me see what Eto would say and Nevermore would do.
