Once this place used to hold the yin and yang scenery of Blossom Field. Now, there are miles of winding tundra. To the north, this tundra is cruel and dry, with wisping weaves of tall grasses. The ground is cracked and cold, and it hardly is ever moistened by dearly desired rainfall. To the south, the tundra becomes more prosperous - meadows of flowers and herbs grace the ground. Part of this connects near Elebeam Weargtreow - however it is an impassible field of poppy, which will put any wolf trying to cross it into a deep slumber, and eventually die.

Those looking to hunt here will find mice, snakes, and rabbits, along with pronghorns, bison, and javalinas.

The Shining King

Raja was nearly asleep, the sun gently warming his dark pelt, a gentle breeze keeping him from overheating. That's when his nose sends little alarms to his brain, little messages screaming "cold! wet!" carried all the way to his brain. He opens his eyes in a quick, fluid motion, and takes in the cute pup who is, quite literally nose-to-nose with the brute. Raja's steely orbs instantly assess the chocolates as a nonthreat, quick enough for zero aggression to appear. The only sign of his alarm was the quick "snap!" of his eyes, and a slight raising of his hackles - but only for half a second.

"Mister you look awful lonely," his auds twitch to the sound of the pup speaking, a slight smile matches the words. He pulls his cranium up, crosses his front paws, and tilts his head ever so slightly to the side. Raja laughs in response, a friendly sound that is quite low pitched and also quite soft. "I am new to this land, pup," his voice has the slightest accent; Indian? Tibetian? Something of that origin, "and this seemed a nice enough spot to rest." The pup had a pelt almost as interesting as Raja's coat, but the color scheme was almost completely the opposite. He felt an almost instant kinship with the young one, and the ember of his fatherly feelings glowed ever so slightly.

"I am Raja Chandra, young one, but, if you wish, you may simply call me Raja," he accompanied his statement with a grin, in an attempt to be friendly. "And how do you call yourself?" Raja had only met the young girl a few seconds ago, but he had already taken a liking to her. He wondered as to the location of her family, and was more than halfway considering asking the girl to join him in his quest to lead a pack. But, of course, that was a conversation for later.
