Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

Assigned items for individual characters are now a field in the character database, and have been removed from player banks. To assign or unassign an item to/from a character, simply post on updates. Items can be assigned, unassigned or transferred for free.
Assigned items can also be named, as denoted in brackets in the database. For example, Zed owns a ship called Santiago, so his database entry reads Large Ship (Santiago). Pets etc can be named too and even have genders assigned. Pet/item names do not have to be unique, so you can have the same name as someone else or someone else's character etc.
Hair, skin and eye colour are now listed entries in the character database. Please post on the updates board with each of your characters' hair, skin and eye colours. For skin tone, you can put a colour (e.g. "brown") or you can use the Fitzpatrick scale (e.g. type vi) if you prefer.
The character database looks funny because I've been messing around with it and it apparently doesn't like that D:< Will fix ASAP.
New items have been added under character edits/additions in shops. These are:
- Randomise Power: Turns a power you already have into another random one worth up to 2,000$. Can be used for characters' powers or powers in bank. 300$
- Randomise Trait: Turns a trait you already have into another random one worth up to 2,000$. Can be used for characters' traits or traits in bank. 300$
- Randomise Familiar: Turns a familiar you already have into a different, randomised species. 100$
