She listens to him weigh the options, and she takes a moment to look around. The fields were a mix of yellow gold and a white. Not all of the grass stalks had been flattened completely by the snow, and therefore peeked out of the sides of masses. Most, however, were covered. Golden and beautiful, the sun lit up the snow like a solar light, blinding anything that stared too long. Trees, brown and sad on the edges of the fields held blobs of brown, nests, some empty, and others home to a few birds, like red cardinals. All around here was peace, and that's when it dawned on her that her rear end was quite, numb.
"Well, if that is the plan, then we shouldn't dilly dally! Up on your paws, let's move it, and make good time, too!" the she-wolf said with a little too much energy as she stood up and started walking towards the tree line. Once in the trees, they could go for a press paw pace, and get to Taviora sometime tomorrow, which would be fine and dandy for her. The sooner, the better luck they had at jumping in on a kill feast, or something similar.
