A World Gone Quiet

His body had perked at her smile. His posture straightened with her words. The brute was suddenly attentive, and back to the proud beast she'd seen chasing the doe. The fey couldn't help the alighted feeling that grew in her chest. It has herself growing taller to match his sudden height gain, though the top of her cranium still only came up to his chin. Her banner wagged behind her gently as she eyed his pools of amber, tilting her head only slightly as she looked at him. He spoke, his tone no longer down trodden or stammering with embarrassment, but rather confidant as it had been before. A smile was on his dark maw.

His name was Vyren? Why, that was almost as odd as her own, and it had the femme grinning as she looked up at the black and light grey male. She'd never come across anyone with the name Vyren before. Ritsuko dipped her head, a type of funny formal greeting.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Vyren." Ritsuko wanted to say more, but the sky was darkening far quicker than she would've like and truthfully, her many hiding spots were rather far from the area. The femme sighed as she looked to the sky, a chilly breeze ruffling her chocolate coat. She'd have to be going now if she wanted to have a warm spot to sleep tonight... Vyren must have been thinking the same thing, with how his eyes glanced to the sky. A small frown marked her maw before the canine huffed again and looked out across the frozen river. "I'm afraid I need to be going now... Would you like to meet another day??" The femme once more looked to the brute, her paws shuffling towards the water edge. She could make that jump, easy.
