Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

And I plan to be...

Milo told her a sad tale of her past, of plagues upon plagues, of incessant suffering. But it was nothing foreign to Nzingha - perhaps it did not have the same specifics, but her entire life had been filled with loss, with pain, with loneliness. Especially now that her one true friend, Danger, was gone. Sure, she had known other wolves, but he had been her only friend. Summer had turned into a weird father, uncle combination, where she trusted him and generally listened to him, but he was not what she would ever consider her friend. There had been her other pack members too - the ones both in Spring Grounds and Munashii Gekko, but as soon as everything had fallen to shit, they had not only disappeared but not come to find her either. And Grey Wind? He ruled Abendrot now, and there was no saying as to whether or not he would kill her the next time that he saw her for her insolence and disrespect from the last time that they had met. Blood was strong, but he hardly knew her and had no reason to trust her, especially over his pack members.

Nzingha looked away, not wanting to upset herself any more than she already had, but Milo once more pulled her attention. 'If you really wanted another home, to really call your own home, you could join me in claiming a pack?' Nzingha stared at the opposing fae, dumbstruck and silent for a few moments, before exploding suddenly. "Claiming a pack? Are you stupid? Have you heard anything that I have said, anyone who I come to trust leaves me or dies! Nothing good has ever come from me being in a pack, and no pack ever lasts! And why would you want me anyway?! I just finished telling you that I don't want anything with any semblance of responsibility... I want a home but I don't want to be in a pack. But I don't want to be on my own. But I want to be safe. Damnit I don't know!" Nzingha scoffed and looked away just as a bittersweet smile came to her lips as she remembered how Summer used to scold her whenever she swore. She remembered how Danger always remained utterly silent and patient with her whenever she went on one of her fits. How warm she was with him at her side at night. How safe she felt. But was being a pack worth the pain it would bring?
