Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Kattari

No Pack - No Mate - Will Consume Jaeger - Eric x Seline

Silence.

There has been a lot of that lately. Beasts in the night that vanish soon as first light hits the earth… Things Kattari desperately wanted to find, to consume the hearts of. It seemed though they were not so easy to find if you wanted them. Cowards. They were no better than the normal cannibal, preying on the weak like foxes did mice. She wanted to see one of these prowling creatures for herself, but thus far Kattari hadn’t seen anyone not for several days at least. The white and strawberry marked wolfess moved with ease over the lands. Scabs from her winter fights were matting out of her fur. Scars along her neck and back leg where the silver backed one had fought for his life while she worked with ‘Opal’, somewhat fresher wounds were scattered over her form from the fight with the ‘angels’. They had been fun, rewarding, but things had not gone to plan. She wanted that male, she wanted his heart more than any other and she had yet to figure out why. It was an obsession almost, a desire that went down to her very roots. He was a good warrior, already his heart would be good to add to her own strength, but there was more. He was more.

She had been wondering about this for some time while her wounds healed and she planned where she should go next. For now though she would bathe herself, clean her pelt of the loose scabs and return the pristine white to her fur. Not because she was vain truly, but it simply was uncomfortable to have her fur mat when already she was shedding for the warmer months. She moves with ease then over the lands and towards the river, but stopped suddenly at the scent of blood.

It was old, dried, she knew the smell well and it drove her to go closer rather than away as perhaps it would have to most. A grin split her maw, impetuous in appearance almost. She hadn’t come looking for a fight, she had come to simply relax, but plans changed, wolves died, that was normal, but as she looked down the river bank she spotted the large, scarred, dark coated male. He was new.

Her body tensed up, but not out of fear, it was excitement. Her fur was standing on end but her tail waved as if she was entirely friendly. She watched with her bright blue eyes, though only one could make him out as he drank from the stream, leaving a little red fading into nothing as he did so. She did not care if he didn’t wish for company, but she didn’t out right approach, not yet at least. He was big and strong and clearly already could hold his own, but to fight or to get to know? These two things pulled at her in different directions causing her to wait for a few moments time, long enough that he seemed to notice she was there.

He spoke and her fur fell flat against her back at his particular choice of words. No fight today. She was curious about him to say the least. He was not of Tobias’ family, she could tell by scent alone, but then who was he? She moves forward, no hesitance in her step at his invitation. ”I appologize for being so rude, I just couldn’t decide if I wanted to fight you or talk. You look like quite the opponent after all.” She grins her voice at the end not hiding the excitement of such a prospect. She draws up next to him, noticing then that she stands slightly taller, but a bit more sleek in comparison. He was shorter, but it was clear he had a bit more weight behind him. He would be challenging, fun even if they ever did decide to go at one another. It was beyond gleeful t think about, but right now her focus was on who he was.

”Kattari.” She introduced, short and simply. She did not poke for his name, it was a sensitive topic for some. Kat had no issue giving her own though, she did not hide from those who may want her dead or captured. That was part of the fun after all.
