Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Her grandfather, Indus, had been said to possess a rather intense habit of roaming. She had been curious, then, if such a trait had skipped her and found itself in her own children - Thyme, it seemed, had inherited it at least. He seemed unable to grasp the mere concept of staying close. Rather, he preferred roaming...and roaming far. While Tithe had the luxury of basking about with Bazyl and observing the bats, Pandora had taken off into the woods in search of their dark hooded boy. Despite his penchant for roaming, he had not gained a penchant for being particularly good at hiding. It took her only some hour before she found him by a water hole, sprawled out with his paws in the water and tongue lolling. She had scolded him, recieved little more than a question of why it was so awful and, in a huff, she had returned to her den to consider just that.

It was Tithe that seemed to answer that as his words drifted down to where she lay patiently, nibbling on her toes to remove debris. The mention of a pack made her ear flicker, a low hm of consideration instantly issued - suspicious, too, perhaps. She wondered momentarily if he meant Spirane. Could they return there? She had little doubt that Daenerys would welcome them back, especially with Niviaq comfortably in their support, and yet it wasn't her that she was worried about - could Tithe do it?

She rose suddenly then with a sigh, slipping from the den's mouth as she stretched out her legs. She rose to glance about their small abode with taut lips before her eyes moved to meet Tithe's own. "You are not wrong to worry," she stated, her voice uncommonly blunt despite the tenderness of her meaning, "each winter seems to get colder and four mouths are difficult to feed. If we had a pack though..." She trailed off, her eyes narrowed slightly. She had never been the best hunter and she had definitely felt that fact over the last several seasons. Though she still appeared quite healthy, she knew her fur had lost some of its thickness, her ribs just a little less covered than usual. She wondered if Thyme and Bazyl had been impacted by it too...

"But where? I do not wish to pledge to a leader I cannot rationalize." And there were plenty of leaders she could not. She would be patient though and first uncover just what Tithe had in mind before she rushed to conclusions.
