Where once the southern border of Blossom Forest was made by Leisure Lake, the magical rearrangement of the lands has laid there instead a vast, uncrossable ocean. The shore differs as you travel along it. Tall mountainous cliffs arise on the western part and at one point, the large river that runs through Blossom Forest opens up at its tributary into a well sheltered cove. As you come more eastward, the towering peaks shorten into rocky foothills. A large section of the shore is inaccessible to most, as Uyaraut has claimed it as their own. But if you skirt around their territory, the hills disappear, swallowed up into the land until it is as flat as the eye can see. The vibrant greens dull into short and dry browns and tans, and the land dries and cracks apart until it melds into The Waste - the desert that forms Blossom Forest’s easternmost border.

For those looking to hunt here, there are of course the fish within the ocean, along with crabs, seals and urchins. For on the shore, there are seagulls, herons, and ospreys.

«Where the Quiet Ones Roam»

Shiki | Adult | Female

The daylight warmed her light coat, the gentle breeze brought with it the scent of the land. The water surface seemed to sparkle, reflecting the refreshing liquid. A hawk called in the distance and Shiki's fuzzy ears flicked idly. No one had approached her as of yet, and the femme had resigned to the fact that perhaps no one would come to have a conversation with her. Sure, the she-wolf was pretty quiet, but she listened. And she did talk, sometimes. Before she'd come to Blossom Forest, the cream colored wolf had few friends, but those she knew she often spoke quite frequently to. It was just strangers she refrained from speaking to, instead choosing to people watch to judge if they were kind or not. Regardless, everyone here seemed to avoid her like the plague. Not that Shiki was really complaining. She didn't mind mingling, but there were just some days the femme liked being alone. And today, it seemed, had turned into one of those days.

The breeze blew again, this time carrying with it the scent of another, a she-wolf, if her sense of smell didn't fail her. It had Shiki looking up from the glittering water and diving birds, her amber hues roving the land around her. It wasn't long before Shiki could hear the other's voice, talking like she was in the company of another. But only one recent scent road the wind that tugged at her light pelt, and when the femme came into sight, her suspicion was confirmed. The other was talking to herself, eyeing the ground below her. She was looking at Shiki's paw prints. The femme turned her cranium then, eyeing the other from the corner of her eye. She didn't want to be caught staring. Soon, the other looked up, her eyes landing on the she-wolf's form. She seemed to be debating something, standing and watching from her spot some odd yards away. Shiki turned her head fully then, her eyes shining in caution and curiosity. The femme seemed... sad? Or was it something else? A friendly grin drew up the corners of Shiki's maw and she dipped her head once in greeting before turning back to the water. She wouldn't mind some company, but the land was new and the she-wolf wasn't up for getting her throat torn out just yet. She wouldn't just bounce up without some precaution.
