The memory of what happened at the mountains gnawed at her; she spent most days away from her companion now and took most days to sink her teeth into anything that dared approach including him and yet today she sought out the sibling she knew of, Alouette. She was a scrawny little thing but she could be useful that much was certain she was swifter, Sekhmet could acknowledge that but the girl stayed decidedly in her shadow which soothed some of her agitation. A deep rolling growl escaped her throat the more lost in thought she became, her teeth barred slightly as they proceeded towards the grotto. The heat of summer was a distant memory and spring was still in bloom the temperature of the caves could be extremely low considering, but she wanted to be away from prying eyes and ears.
Alouette’s light tones reached her ears as her opalescent eyes flickered to the girl. “Privacy.” The word rumbled from her chest and teeth gnashed together her anger clearly written for the girl to see. Her ears heard the trickling of water and knew the sound it mad when pooling together She followed it deeper to where it leveled off after a slight slope. A crack in the ceiling where the water trickled from glistened and streamed into the small pool that rolled off to the right and left. It looked surprisingly serene for a wolf of her nature to find. Sekhmet had known her company to be wise enough not to start trouble and laid beside the edge of the pool. Before looking to Alouette once more, she shook her head and snarled which echoed through the caverns sounding much louder than any other creature now.
Her tones reverberated and her teeth gnashed a harsh sigh escaping her. “Brother. Traitor. Betrayed me. Find answers.” She spoke her words quietly but still harsh and gravelly never soft or kind. “Share Information.” Sekhmet wasn’t much of a speaking wolf but she knew the art of the fight and of things she noticed about the world. Sekhmet rarely made deals but she would with the one wolf bold enough to stand in her presence and obey her request for this she praised Alouette but she wouldn’t speak those words of praise to her but she considered the girl a possession now, her possession.
Sekhmet snarled, turning her body towards Allouette and gripping her scruff between her jaws holding her for a moment. Her tongue lapped over the spot before her face was pressed into the girl's neck. She gazed at the girl before her and moved to sit on her haunches. “Mine.” Allouette was a possession, a companion now. The girl was her own at least in her mind and she would be treated as such. Her eyes wondered around the place allowing her newest company to process speak and react to what had just occurred. Even permitting Allouette the ability to touch her or ask a question about it.
