Action heating up at Puryear Park

The quality of play at Puryear Park has never been better than going on out there now. As we enter our 10th year as a "real" jai-alai court (as compared to the old days) there are now 6 ex-pros on the regular roster including Scott King, Belota, Randy, Rocco, Ricky and former triple crown winner Daniel.

Adding these players to others like Kullster (who's playing more often now)and his buddy and newcomer Brodie (a former national amateur champion in Connecticut from the early 90s)and there is a pretty good chance you will see some quality action on any given night or Saturday morning.

Oddly, 2015 co-winners of the championship award - Julio and Rule - seemed to have vanished like a Chip fart in the wind.

Rocco made his debut since returning to Tampa and was spectacular - winning all 6 of his games.

Daniel picked up his first win over on the court Saturday while playing with the great Armando!

Randy is rapidly learning the quirky court while making some amazing catches.

Mike continues to amaze people and even had Daniel call him "Michelena" one day.
