News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

Zelda

She is unmoving as Alexander, Eloah and Constantine approach. Her muzzle gave the very slightest of dip of thanks at Alex’s words, but otherwise she was tense, waiting and unsure what would come from any of this. He eyes flicked to that of Eloah, happy for her presence, if there was any time she needed an advisor it was now more than ever. Having Constantine was nice too, just incase something went awry. While he wasn’t really a fighter, and she was certain as long as a bunch of wolves didn’t turn up to defend Aranck they would be able to hold their own if not all out defeat him if they tried together. Zelda herself also wasn’t exactly a fighter, but she was certain she could at least help them if it came down to it. She still wondered how Aranck would even be with such a party to welcome him.

Would he be angry? Confused? She had no idea, all she had heard was bad things about him. Orifel had been here for some time giving her some information, but it wasn’t a lot. The things that Matini had told her in conjunction with this though, well things were not going so well for him. It was in her way that she didn’t judge others based solely on what another wolf would say about them. This however was coming from multiple wolves, the rumors, and then… Moteuh… There was no way Tepiltizin would lie about that. Zelda had grown up with him lying and playing tricks on others and this… well this was far from a trick or something he would ever pull.

Her mind snapped out of her thoughts when Constantine spoke, her eyes looked around spotting the large male making his way towards them. His appearance was somber and neutral, Zelda watched him standing with her small company at her sides. They were reassuring at the very least to have there. Zelda still felt nervous but there was only so much she could do now, so much she could prevent. He did not look angry at the very least, did not look like he was about ready to kill them. Trusting Alexander and Constantine to make sure they weren’t being surrounded or otherwise in danger she gave her sole focus on to him. With Eloah’s help she was sure they would come to some sort of… understanding? Was that what Zelda wanted? It was still hard to tell why she was here, what even close could be gained from them talking, but perhaps that was all part of the reason she was here…

He greeted them in smooth tones, even that was an odd way of welcoming them. He went on to say he regretted they couldn’t met on better terms. Her ears twitched, as if it was just some sort of unfortunate accident and not his own jaws that killed her sister. She remained as stony faced as she could, but she couldn’t entirely prevent her tan brows from furrowing slightly. She could feel it, it was bad, like a cloud was around him. Like how she felt it with the Monster, though perhaps stronger in ways and different in others. He sounded so apologetic but all of his actions spoke otherwise. He had tried to hurt Tepi right after! He did not bring her to Taviora to be buried along side her family, he didn’t come they had to go to him. It had been days since it happened, he had plenty of time to come to them first, but no it was them now who stood on his borders waiting for and listening to him speak. He knew why they were there. With that somber expression there was by no means a way out of that. He knew what he had done, what had occurred and why they marched to his lands to see why he had done what he had done.

”So you know why we are here… That is good.” She started calmly, not letting her eyes leave him for a moment. ”If you are truly sorry for what you done, you can start by explaining why you murdered an innocent child.” Zelda started her tones sharp, her diving right to the heart of it if that was what he wanted. She felt no need to introduce herself, he didn’t ask anyway, not to mention given how he started, it didn’t seem wholly appropriate. ”She was a child of the pack, our home, who has done no harm to you. We have let you be and done nothing to warrant any distrust or hate to this level, yet you killed a pup not even of a year. Then you do nothing to tell us? Did nothing to return her to us so that she may be buried with her family?” Her voice was still even, but she could feel her temper rising. ”Nothing could ever justify such an action as killing a child.” She took a deep breath calming herself, not wanting to unless all the sadness and anger she had from losing her sister in such a meaningless way. She wondered what he had to say for himself. Zelda wanted very much to be peaceful but this male thus far has given her no reason to be…

”Please give me one reason that we should mend our bonds, or have any thing else to do with you or your land.” He was guilty as far as she could tell, guilty and without any true remorse. Perhaps he thought he could hide, perhaps he thought that she was a nobody, that Tepi wouldn’t say anything. But even if she had been and Tepi saw him murder any innocent child Zelda thought she would do something to stop him. He was a black cloud with bad feelings emanating from him. Everything just felt dark. Now would be the time where he should give up her body, return her to them. There were parts of her, parts she was certain were more from her father that wanted to threaten him, to kill him where he stood, but blood for blood was never the answer, that was what her grandfather had instilled upon her. But there was nothing, nothing in the world he could do to make this better, nothing he could do to fix what he had broken for her family. She was here doing what was best for the pack and just letting him get by with nothing, that was unacceptable.

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
