The she-wolf had to be careful this time of year, considering the stories she’d heard in Taviora. Something about beasts, bears and cougars, magically appearing at night, and vanishing at day. This meant that Amber had to be on high alert, keeping watch for anything that might try and to jump out and murder her. So far, by sticking to thin paths between tall trees, with very few branches down low, nothing had jumped her. Yet. The snow white beauty wasn’t letting down the guard yet, not until the first rays of light touched her fur. But then the fields appeared.
In the first light of spring, they were welcoming. Now they could be filled with bears, cougars were unlikely. Her paws carried her forward, and her ears listened. The sunrise which touched her was like her mother, saying the comforting words ‘You’re safe now’. There was a sigh of relief from her maw, and the she-wolf headed forward still. After the play, Amber had to get to Diveen, and see when or if the fortune telling event would be held there or not. Considering it’s neighbor was to be perfect for a play, she really didn’t want to have to rethink all of her plans.
Up ahead, her eyes land upon a tanish wolf, simply enjoying herself.
“Hello there” Amber’s rough, but gentle voice calls out, hoping not to scare the other she-wolf.
