Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

The beams of light did indeed illuminate something in her wake. Eyes of red flash, aware of what looks to be something living. She sees eyes of green among white and black. She sees creature- she sees wolf as the breeze causes the leaves above to move, shifting the light slightly. Her paws pause, a stillness coming to her as she observes the warning upon his face. She was claiming this area as her own once more, and her red and black hackles raise slightly in defiance. A threat seemed to loom in the woods she was to reside, but there was something perhaps...odd.

She continues to stay still, only her head raising slightly with orbs of red staring in the direction of the wolf. There was something...familiar, something like the taste of blood but a different creature- still blood the same. Yet, her mind struggled to comprehend exactly why this creature felt like something she had known. She feels her breath go in and out, hearing the birds chirp up ahead. There is not any fear that comes from her lithe form. Originally, perhaps a bit of defensive aggression, which has now fallen a bit to defensive curiosity.

She slightly moves her black nose forward, tasting the air before expelling it out in a bit of a sneeze. There was certainly something that trigger in her mind, but not enough for her to react too quickly. She pulled her head back slightly, before turning it slightly back and forth, eyes looking around, searching for shadows and monsters never to come. They were not to return, just as her flesh before had never returned in the caves as it once was before. She licked her nose, looking towards the other creature.

Her voice let out the slightest of whines in his direction. She lowered her head slightly as she took a step towards him, nose reaching the ground in another sniff. Wind ruffled her scruff as her eyes lock in his direction. Her body went stiff again, gauging his reaction to her first before she moved forward. She knew that he could run towards her with fangs at any moment, and she was prepared for such, but she also felt that...familiar feeling, like a warm blanket of sun. It was a conflicting feeling, something similar to that of the shadow, a leader, something she can rely on. She could only wait for these few moments to pass to see if her instincts were correct- or were so very wrong.
