Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

this is the end

He could tell just by looking into her beautiful eyes that she was different than how he had left her. She looked almost broken, or like she had been on the precipice of being broken but had found a way to jump over the edge and be redeemed in her own way. He was no hypocrite so he wasn't going to put her up on a pedestal and pretend that she had done no wrong. He had no clue what she had been through and that was the truth. He had no clue what she had done since he'd been gone or even before he was there. He didn't really know Malleah in the first place but he felt like he knew her soul.

He was sure that some things she may have done to get through the bad times in her life, she probably wasn't proud of. There's not always a clear lighted path and he was no saint so he wouldn't begin to judge her. He did know one thing though. Malleah meant more to him than anyone in his life and if she felt this male who had used her deserved bad things, then he would stand by her because he felt it was the right place to be. He was so obscessed with her that if she had asked him to kill a wolf, he wouldn't hesitate to do as she asked. He had skills now and he knew how to use his bulk to win in a fight. Malleah had no idea the weapon she could unleash on this world.

He knew that she probably had things she didn't want to tell him and that's okay. He wouldn't push. He had his own secrets about where he had been and what he had done while away from Moladian and so she could have secrets of her own as well. He only cared if she still held any emotions for him and so far, it seemed that she did.

She started to tell him about the male, that he was sweet and his fur bristled instinctively. He knew that any story that started with good things about someone was only because it only got worse after that. His mind wandered through all the horrible things he could have done to Malleah and he felt his temper rise. No matter how passive Exodus used to be, he never could escape the famous Devil temper. He didn't want to think about how many litters she had carried for this wolf. It would only anger him more to think of anyone touching her like that without her being willing. Maybe even then. He was quite possessive when someone meant something to him and Malleah was the only wolf besides Bellatrix who had gotten close.

"THAT'S NOT TRUE. YOU ARE MUCH MORE THAN THAT, MALLEAH. YOU NEED TO GET AWAY FROM HIM."

She let him embrace her and so he took advantage of it, closing his eyes and inhaling her perfume like it was oxygen. He hated seeing her cry like this. It was tearing him apart. He felt restless, like he wouldn't be able to rest until he knew that she was safe and happy. He didn't want to leave her. He didn't want to think she had gone back to the male. When she pulled back, he let his golden gaze search her expression. He let a soft "shhh" escape his lips as she murmured something about stopping him. He didn't want to dwell on the past. What's done is done. Maybe she could have done something. Maybe she couldn't. He knew that torturing herself with the "what if's" wasn't the healthy thing to do.

There was suddenly a new flicker in her eyes and she started to speak again. He felt like he was listening to a RIDDLE he so desperately wanted to solve if only because it involved her. Something was going to happen and there was almost a shadow in her gaze like there was maybe something about it that she wanted to keep from him. He felt the urge to push, to find out more just so he knew she would be safe. He could care less about the other male at this point. His only focus was Malleah. His brows furrowed only when she said that she wouldn't leave just yet. That meant that she would be going back to the male after this. She wanted to see something through. He admired her for it but at the same time, he dreaded that she had to leave him.

Her question had his brows lifting though and a soft smile touching his lips.

"I WON'T LOSE YOU AGAIN, MALLEAH. I WILL BE THERE, ALWAYS."

There wasn't a doubt in his mind that he would go through hell fire to make sure he was there for her.
