Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He does not understand such a thing as this but he has seen it befall many through his lifetime. The adjective, noun or whatever it was had nothing to do with him, perhaps that is why he admired it so much. There was a thing about purity with him, for he himself was far from clean. He relished in pure things, bathing in them until he tainted them with his own dark sins. Purity to him was like diamonds to man, he cherished the unseen thing and to be taken was something that he could not fathom. He has never done such a thing for though he was a ghoul of a creature, he could not bear the idea of covering any more of this dimly light earth with his darkness.

But this other had done just that, stealing away virtue as if there weren’t plenty of freeloaders willing to pass it off with ease. His face seems to contort as he intakes the other’s fading aroma, stomach churning in disgust. She pulls away from him as gentle, broken words tumble from her lips and he cannot help but snarl in distaste. He does not want her away from him, not right now. But her eyes meet his own, those pale thing shimmering “hush, be still.” he speaks lowly. a growl flowing from him as if to comfort her? the way she speaks of him, almost attempting to validate her attacker's wrongdoings.

But who was gul to speak of wrong doings?

He has murdered and fed on the dead. He has taken lives that have only lived for short times. And he has relished is his own chaos, the blood that has been shed by his own paws. No sin was greater than his another and if one were to look at his grimy, black, crimson stained slate they would probably gal at the sight. He was far from a hero, not even close to being a knight, and yet,

Here he was.

Her long breath drags him back from his twitsed mind that, without her presence, might have been his downfall. Flattened ears flick forward, taking in her name greedily. “Ehiyeh” he repeats it gently, his baritones whispering her name in a husky warm breath. He shall remember it, placing it above others he has stored within the crevices of his thoughts. He pauses, his growl turning into a low hum. “you will stay with me this night” it is not a question, not a request, as always the ghoul demands it.

The question is, is this for her sake? Or for his own?
“i am gul.”
