The weather had been pleasant enough and yet her nose twitched something was on the horizon and yet she knew not what. Perhaps it was simply the season's nature but still, it grew to mar her mute expression to that of one twisted in displeasure and agitation. To know and not know all the same was a new sensation but with little guidance left she couldn’t care any less about it being a right or wrong sensation. She lived on more primal sensations but the pleasure was something few and far between when she roamed without rhyme or reason. She could blame it on her parents and the parents of her parents but her mind never worked in such a manner. She was a diverse creature and yet a simplistic one. She was perhaps an enigma in this reasoning but even she couldn’t see it.
Blood-tipped toes pressed into the earth with ease the riverside was worth the trip she supposed she used it to cleanse her scent of pack land many times when she ventured into new territory but she covered no tracks this day, her scent remained untouched and paw prints clear in view. She wasn’t likely to be followed most had stayed away and perhaps it was for the best and yet her brother was there much like he had been in their youth. She desired to seek him out perhaps gain that comfort the only family could provide her and yet she strayed further from the grasslands and further into the free lands. She knew of the beasts that roamed the night yet felt no fear, in fact, she was rather interested in sinking her teeth into the flesh of one of them.
Tonight seemed no such luck, the sky lit up and called for her attention but it didn’t go without showing her the form of another a short gap away before the rain begun to fall heavily. It was without hesitation her broad form stalked closer keeping her eyes locked onto the creature it was a beast alright but of her own kind and perhaps a useful company or a toy to end up between her teeth. She closed the distance in silence, not even her normal growl she simply watched with haunting opalescent eyes almost anticipating with an electric spike of excitement to see if she would be noticed as her shoulders shifted as though she would spring forward if given the chance.
