Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

If such a power could take form Underidge assumes it would be electricity. That is the thing that hovers between them, snapping and snarling and vicious. Always there is a heady feeling of completeness when Eden turns his attentions to the Thorn. From that first time as a pup when he had assaulted the older male to the time Eden had found him atop a dying wolf and offered to taste his blood. A connection that was forged in blood and vile wretchedness but crowned one as king and one as fanatic assassin. Never had a doubt crossed his mind but perhaps that is because Underidge does not doubt himself and Eden is an extension of him but better, grander, something far more precise and cunning. It is not weakness to understand this, it is weakness to ignore it.

A grunt is given in reply. Useful? In time. "Time must be quick," Underidge hisses out, glancing away to glare at the shadows betwixt the trees. His patience has grown thin with the whims of children despite their learned obedience. It is not they who are the ones causing the problem - it is him with his inability to change. To accept the difference in life and use it to his advantage. He is a wolf of dislikes and change is now a part of that.

The energy that has built and coiled within him along with the increasing pressure from the Shade now coalesces as one word drops like honey from the mouth of the King. Aranck. For a second his odd eyes latch into Edens and his head tips in a curiosity that is unlike his usual behavior. But it takes only a split second to understand, to remember, for it was his duty to know what happened in Molodian. He had missed the small things - such as Ehiyeh - but the large ripples did not go unnoticed. Taviora had moved against Iromar but for what reason? An appreciative gleam enters his eyes.

The Shade, that glorious god, claws at his guts in delight. A King? A killer? He is weak because he has brought the attention of Eden and for that his soul with be fed to the Shade and Underidge will know release. "Aranck," he agrees with a rolling growl and a pleased expression on his face. Now Eden explains. A child of his King was killed. If it was any other child Underidge would not care and perhaps he actually doesn't, only that it affects Eden so thus must affect him. Children should be careful lest they are murdered by those stronger but here his loyalty lies strongest of all. "I am not good with words, anyways," he replies back and for once he offers Eden a sort of twisted grin, his own attempts at smooth wit a small change from having to speak to children who questioned everything.
