Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He blended well with the darkness for it was only when he had called her name does she approach. Her limbs took longer strides feeling bolder now that he made his presence known. She cast a curious yet mischievous gaze to Blackthorne taking her time to circle him, a soft growl escaping her muzzle. Her small teeth bared as she moved to settle in front of him. “I do not like your scent.” He smelt of strange places and of others most notably a female. Light growls escape her muzzle as she stood once again to brush her pelt against his own. She knew he was bigger, the one to be obeyed and yet she stood to challenge it when it appealed to her own desires to do so.

She knew in the closeness, she was in reach of sharp teeth that might grasp her scruff or pelt but she was willing to risk his teeth in an attempt to cover the scent of her own. “Is there something special about this place?” She glanced around settling close to his frame. She could smell the waters that were much different from that of the moors she had once called home other than it being more sandy in places she didn’t see anything of intrigue to keep her attention for long until her gaze was called back to Blackthorne.

She knew better to question him, he was a stranger that wasn’t a stranger. So many questions she could ask but it was a deep intuition that kept her silent unwilling to question him despite her desire to rouse the frustration in him. She was perhaps a little sick and twisted in this manner and yet it felt so very right. Litha remained silent allowing him to direct and speak without much interference from herself. In time she could explore perhaps even outside of this place altogether. All she had was time for should she return certainly she would be killed.
