Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

-SASHA-

The stranger spoke again, strange words that did not fully make sense to Sasha, but it was clear that she’d been detected and the other wolf was beckoning for her. No longer inhibited by the need to maintain her silence, a low growl emitted from the back of Sasha’s throat and the hair on her spine rose involuntarily, making her appear taller than she already was. She welcomed it. Her height and speed were really her only advantage, aside from her good looks of course but she doubted that would count for much if this encounter became a confrontation. She was a thin wolf by nature, but it was partially disguised by the length of her auburn fur.

She prowled forward a few feet, her tail erect and overall posture aggressive as her green eyes watched the other female warily. Immediately taking it upon herself to address the metaphorical elephant in the room, she eyed the stranger poignantly before speaking in blunt, harsh tones, her intonation precise.

“I’m far too gamey to eat,” she said, her voice fairly even with a hint of irony. She looked the she-wolf up and down, noticing that their pelts were both the same lovely blood color. Even in the dark though, Sasha noticed the stranger’s obscurely colored eyes, which would surely unnerve most people. Sasha, however, only continued to flatly observe the stranger, remaining light on the pads of her feet in case she needed to move quickly.

“What exactly is wrong with you?”

The Russian she-wolf was nothing but if not too the point. Hurting the feelings of the strange woman before her was hardly at the top of her list of priorities.
