Oblivious to the fact that the other wolf was more than displeased with her presence, Ember trotted forward with a skip in her step and a smile on her face. When she explained why she was there, her ears twitched curiously when he muttered something under his breath. She hadn't caught exactly what was said. Her head tilted to the side as silver eyes watched the cream boy carefully. So far, he didn't seem aggressive, but she could tell he wasn't in the best condition either.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mugen," she said, her voice light hearted and pleasant. "Sadly, I don't have any food on me or in me. But, I would be more than happy to help you hunt. You do look like you could use some meat." The giggle that left her mouth was like the ringing of a bell, clear and beautiful. Still unawear that the male may not want her presence, she turned away from the bank of the roaring river to the area next to the river. Of course, she had no idea where anything to eat really was, but that wasn't going to stop the bubbly wolfess from trying. Her tail waving softly behind her and her nose in the air, she tried her best to sniff out anything that they could hunt.
But, the small animals, sensing wolves about, had gone underground and would most likely hide there until the threat had left. Turning to the skinny wolf, she shrugged her shoulders sadly. "Sorry, but I don't think there's anything around here to eat. If you want, we can find my fellow gypsies and see if they were able to take something down. Liquid Amber and the others are always willing to share food with needy strangers." Again, the smile spread across her face as she waited to see what the boy would say.
