It had taken a long time for the wolf to register that someone was calling her name. It wasn't until the second shout that she turned to see the gray and black wolfess approaching her. The queen of the mountains looked agitated with her tail half raised and her ears forward. For a moment, Gaia thought she was here to cast her out, after all, she was not a member and the last time she had called the mountains home, she had left in the chaotic power struggle. Daenerys had every right to simple through the girl out to the savage wilds, but as the alpha got closer, her words seemed to say the opposite of what Gaia was thinking.

Asking if she was alright, the queen showed concern for the other wolfess. At once, Gaia collapsed to the ground as her body drained all the adrenaline from her shaking limbs. For a moment, nothing was said as she tried to calm her pounding heart. Finally, when she felt she could speak without her voice trembling, she gazed up at the garnet colored eyes of the queen and offered an apologetic smile.

"Please forgive my intrusion, Lady Daenerys. I know that I have no right to be here. I didn't know what else to do," she said in a rush of words. Then, thinking that the other may not fully understand what she was talking about, Gaia took a deep breath and started over. "There was a huge animal chasing me. I am sure it wanted to kill me! It all happened so fast. I ran into the packlands hoping it would scare it away. From the looks of it, I was right."

Sighing, she gazed behind the alpha to confirm once again that she was safe from the jaws of death. "I'm sorry, I will leave at once if you do not wish me to stay."
