I am Magnolia. The male was watching us with a mixture of amusement and just straight confusion. Of course, she expected this because it's the same way all wolves looked at him when his visitors decided to speak up. Then usually they would back away from him and call him a freak and do their best to avoid him from then on. She wondered if this wolf would do that too. Would he leave her alone now or would he still want to stick around? The way his eyes were narrowing, she was starting to wonder if he wouldn't consider her a threat or something. Her legs started to quiver. When Bandit made a threat, the male growled, his fur bristling and her ears flattened against her head in submission. Leave it to Bandit to ruin an already awkward situation. "I-I'M S-S-SORRY." She knew it was probably a lost cause to try to apologize since Bandit would probably just ruin it in five seconds but she had to at least try. Which he did, right on time. "NO, YOU WATCH YOURSELF, MAN. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DEALING WITH, WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH. CHECK YOURSELF BEFORE YOU WRECK YOURSELF, YA FEEL ME?" Bandit was giving a daring glare but Mags was scared to death. What if the wolf retaliated against her to get to Bandit? He couldn't know that Bandit could only talk through her, not actually do anything. He didn't know how their condition worked, that only one could be in control at a time. He didn't know that Mags was the only one in control for now. Things seemed to be looking up, at least for now. The wolf sat down before her and seemed to relax a little, so she was hoping that meant he knew he was in no immediate danger. Now if only Bandit would keep his mouth shut. He told her to relax. Of course, that was much easier said than done. Mags was used to being scared. It pretty much ran in her blood by now. Her quivering did slow down a little. At least he didn't have a group of wolves just waiting to hunt her down and kill her or just BESET her right here. He was just used to getting payment for his favors. That wasn't so horrible, right? He mentioned that hunting wasn't that easy for him and said that he wanted her to hunt something for him. Her eyes widened. Of course he would ask for the one thing she was horrible at. Usually she didn't eat on the days she was in control because she was just no good at hunting things. Diesel, Bandit, even Orb could catch a hare if he worked hard enough. Her mouth suddenly felt dry and scratchy. How would she get out of this? What would he do if he figured out she wasn't going to be able to get him any food? Not unless she could talk someone else into hunting it. Like that would work. She found herself slowly nodding but knew her eyes might give her away like they always do. "Y-YES, SURE. I C-CAN DO THAT." When he narrowed his eyes, she flattened herself more to the ground, afraid that he was about to attack. But why? Did he change his mind? He was warning her that he wasn't weak, that she'd better not attack him. Tears started to glisten in her eyes as she looked at him. "I W-WOULDN'T. I'M NOT...I'M NOT A M-MONSTER." The last word came out bitter.
