Life in Abendrot had grown more and more dull to the female. Her entire life she had never been tied down, had always been a wanderer. And now she felt trapped in this pack. When she had agreed to come here with Halina, she thought it would be better than this. She thought there would still be chances to go out and do more things. But that had not been the case. When Ygritte grew really restless she would leave for a few days with her mate, trying to keep her wandering lust in check. There were other lusts she had as well, but those were more than satisfied with her time with Halina. Ygritte didn’t know how it was possible that she was not sick of the endless time spent with the other femme, but she never wanted to be away from the scarred femme. But the need to leave and wander had grown stronger and stronger, and it was hard to ignore that. Ygritte had to be honest with her mate, so she told her what was going on. Halina may have a tough exterior, but she was softer on the inside and agreed to leave Abendrot for the sake of Ygritte’s sanity.
The russet colored femme had let Halina have some time to tell Grey Wind. She still didn’t understand the rules of the pack dynamic, but she didn’t want to rush them to leave when her mate was dropping everything for her. She watched from the sideline as Halina and Grey Wind spoke before others joined them. It was clear that the alpha would prefer for Halina to stay, but he didn’t make her feel guilty for needing to leave. Despite Abendrot’s reputation, Grey Wind had always been reasonable in her mind. But now she decided it was time to make her appearance and also her goodbyes. Paws padded forward, stepping beside her mate, rubbing their opposite colored pelts together. Halina was displeased with this other female that was here, obviously not impressed by her actions, and Ygritte stayed close to her mate’s side to calm her, but remaining silent for now.

The male was not expecting the news that Halina had had for him, but at the same time he understood it. The pack had been very quiet as of late and he didn’t blame them for wanting to leave to have a more exciting life. He thought about doing the same thing on occasion. But then Nzingha joined the group and made things a bit more exciting, though Halina didn’t seem to like his niece. As the darkly colored female snapped at the younger one, they were joined by one more, Halina’s mate. Grey Wind had never been able to form any sort of relationship with her, she had made it clear she was here with Halina as her priority over the pack itself. Grey Wind knew wolves like her, wolves that would prefer not to be in a pack, but she had done it for her love and so he had no issues with her staying here. The red female didn’t say a word to the group as she approached, often the quieter type in group settings. Grey Wind’s yellow orbs looked to his niece still, waiting to see what it was that she needed from him and the pack, hoping it was something within his power to fix
