Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

The girl who called them is the first to approach the strange wolf, the one with the body of a male but the voice of, well, a female. And yet he couldn't pull his gaze away from the one who called them. She hadn't even introduced herself and already he felt like he was absorbing everything about her; her emotions, her dreams, her aspirations, everything she had ever wanted or needed was suddenly laid out on a table before him. He didn't know what to call her and yet something inside of him recognized her even without a name. He watched with pride in his gaze as she reached out to the one who called himself Mags, barking a greeting to him. However, the greeting didn't seem to go so well for Mags, who promptly shirveled back and started acting like she might attack him at any given moment. His ears flicked back but not for long, for now the shadow of his own persona was looking at him and when their gazes met, he felt his breath catch and his ears prick forward.

She greeted him and that smile was more than warmth to him. It was everything under the sun. He was reluctant to lose her gaze if only for a moment when she looked back at Mags to greet her in turn before she gave the lucky word, her name. Talien. He could repeat it for hours on end, forever maybe. He could yell it to the heavens above and it wouldn't be enough.

"TALIEN...

He whispered it for his own benefit. He had to say it, just this once. It rolled off his tongue and he liked it. She looked back at him and the world was brighter. She said it was good to meet them both and his tail wagged that much faster. But she had another question for Mags and he had to be patient, though it was oh so hard. He shifted his weight, watching as Mags shriveled back once more and stammered that she didn't have one. But then she was looking back at him, asking him about Glorall and he knew it would never be enough to describe it for her.

"WATER AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE AND SAND BETWEEN YOUR TOES. TRULY SOMETHING YOU SHOULD EXPERIENCE. THE DESCRIPTION WOULD NEVER DO IT JUSTICE."

He gave her a small smirk, his tail giving a swish. He could talk to her all day. But other wolves were approaching and he had to pay attention. A female arrived, a graceful creature that was about his age but somehow held herself like she had much wisdom in her. She called herself Zelda and his brows raised in surprise. He had heard of her. She was the alpha of Taviora, the forest pack. He didn't think that alphas came to gatherings like this but then, it's not like there was a list or anything. She was just as welcome as anyone. She gave everyone a greeting and he nodded his head in acknowledgement and respect that was due her rank, even if she wasn't in her pack lands. She deserved that much.

"PLEASURE IS ALL MINE, ZELDA."

He greeted back, though one ear stayed locked on Talien the whole time. It's like his body was so attuned to her every move that she would never completely leave his mind. Zelda's gaze lingered on him for a moment longer and he tilted his head, wondering what was on her mind, but she chose to keep it to herself so he let it go. Another wolf is approaching, another male. He seemed just as taken aback by the behavior of Mags but then he glanced at Thor himself, an ear twitching. Thor didn't think too much on it. The girl, Zelda, seemed to have drawn his interest as he answered about it being a fine morning, giving his name as Navarre before asking where Zelda was from. Thor guessed he was new to Moladian, or at least new enough not to know the names of the alphas. He would leave Zelda's mystery to herself, smirking to himself a little as he looked back to see Mags acting very strange indeed.

She was shivering and crouched to the ground now, talking to herself in multiple voices, all seeming to come from the same sets of lips but each so very different. A thick latino accent, thuggish even, and then the soft girly tone then something much deeper with a german accent. All so unique and yet she looked scared to death of something....or everything. He couldn't tell which. But his attention kept wandering back to Talien. Everything about her was so clear, so easy to focus on. He knew what it meant, what it could only mean. He shifted, unsure how to approach it, how to approach her. There was Inanna, his best friend in Glorall. There was something there, wasn't there? Or maybe he was just imagining it. His head and his heart were so very confused.
