The presence of the other animal becomes known well before he approaches and announces himself. She doesn't raise her head from her current doings, suffering enough as it is, and dreading the thought of another brute coming over to try and charm her. If they wanted to charm her they would bring her food, or adventure, but instead they offered nothing but their smooth words and good looks. There was no denying that part, but their words were as easy to see through as glass, and their good looks weren't anything that interested her. She was anything but an old-fashioned girl, being able to take care of herself offered perks to her, one of which was being much pickier about the men she awarded her attention.
"Mulberries." She spits the word with obvious distaste, barely taking the time to look up at the other creature. He is of little interest to her, despite the title catching a margin of her attention. "Bryce. Pleased to meet you. If you'll excuse me now, I think I'm going to retch." Jumping back to her feet, the dark wolf shoots off as far away as she can get before her stomach voids it's contents, which is maybe half a dozen yards. That would teach men to approach her.
It feels like a year for Bryce, but it's only a few minutes before her stomach stops heaving and she can finally look around without the world becoming a spinning wheel. Her feet are firmer on the ground, the trees aren't looking so suspicious anymore, and her stomach is still upset but it's from hunger now rather than mulberries. F@!*ing mulberries.
Her trek back is short and sweet, she even has the decency to be half-embarrassed, tail lowered and ears slightly tilted sideways. She stops a decent distance back, falling gracefully onto her haunches. "Now, what the hell did you say your name was?"
