Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

this is the end

The way she ran at him, he would have thought she didn't think twice about the cliff just behind him, or of the injuries that could await her if she were to fall over it. Perhaps she was just too caught up inher excitement to tag him that she didn't think about it. The good thing was that he was thinking of it so eh used his body as a buffer. It's a good thing he was so big. It must have been like running into a big cushion. When she did hit his shoulder, she bounced back and started flailing and it was enough to bring a big smile to his lips. She was just so full of joyous energy that it rejuvenated him in a way. When she did right herself, her tail was wagging so much that it almost made her whole body wiggle and it was just adorable. He couldn't remember ever playing with someone so energetic. He didn't really have any puppy friends when he was younger save his own brother, River. And then he met Stella and then her children one time but none of them were boisterous at the time. In fact, they were all rather serious for puppies, he thought, too caught up in trying to intimidate him even though they were about a quarter of his size at the time.

As an adult, growing up, he didn't really come across any puppies. He wasn't all that social in Diveen. He always felt like an outsider. Maybe it was freeing to leave the ravine pack but soon he would need to do something for Malleah. He would need to find them safety and sanctuary somewhere. But he didn't have to think about that right now. Right now he could play with the female and see where this went. Maybe he would make a new friend and maybe he would find out some new information about the ever changing Moladian now that he was back too. He barked and jumped at her, fully expecting her to get away but she surprised him by tripping over herself and before he knew it, his nose had touched her and she was back to being "it." Grinning proudly, he danced with her as she ran around him before turning to nip at him. Laughing, he let her herd him away from the cliffs, jumping around and turning back to nip back at her shoulders and ears playfully but not really trying to touch her for fear that he would tagged "it" again. He knew enough of the game that he wasn't supposed to be trying to be "it."

She paused to roll suddenly when he asked of the gyspies and fairy kings so he relaxed for a moment and watched her, tilting his head to listen. Her words didn't make a lot of sense to him but he caught keywords like Taviora. He knew that was a pack. She made it seem like loners must be the wanderers.

"SO DID YOUR MOTHER GATHER THE WANDERERS? WAS SHE THEIR LEADER?"

He thought he remembered rumors of a gypsy group when he was younger, of loners getting together and choosing a leader, almost like a pack but not as strict. They had a place in the free lands that they frequented but no one place was their territory and he heard they were merry wolves, peaceful and full of play. He had no idea what she meant when she talked of her father and lost spirits. Suddenly the female got sad and said that her mother was lost, that she was looking for her king. He could only gather that she must mean her parents were both dead and his own face sombered. He took a seat and curled his tail around him, his ears drooping some in sadness.

"MY PARENTS ARE GONE TOO. MY MOTHER DIED NOT LONG AFTER I WAS BORN. SHE NEVER RECOVERED FROM OUR BIRTH. MY FATHER WENT CRAZY AND DISAPPEARED. I HEAR HE'S GONE NOW TOO, THOUGH NO ONE REALLY SEEMS TO KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED."

He watched her roll to her stomach and sigh, something flickering in her eyes like she wanted to get away from the sadness. Then she spoke more of these gypsies, confirming his theory that they were loners with no rank. Loners who gathered and thought of each other as family just like a pack but without rules and boundaries. He smiled softly, wondering what Malleah would think of this existance. It sounded nice to him. He wagged his tail. Maybe he was born to be a gypsy as well. He let himself relax and zone out for a moment to enjoy the moment but of course that's when she chose to strike. She crouched and leapt at him and he felt himself being tackled before he knew it. He barked in laughter as he fall backwards, his tail still wagging even as he rolled to his stomach and tried to tag her back legs with his paw, being careful not to get her with his claws, only wanting to bat at her to successfully "tag" her back before he would climb to his feet and dance out of reach. He needed to be quicker if he was going to keep up with her! If he didn't manage to tag her, he would roll back to his feet and run after her, laughing and barking as he tried to catch up and touch his nose to her flank in a tag.

"BEING A GYPSY SOUNDS LIKE FUN. PERHAPS I'LL TRY IT."
