The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Kattari

No Pack - No Mate - Will Consume Jaeger - Eric x Seline

Her teal eye watched him critically for several seconds. She felt the little trickles of blood run down her neck which only exacerbated her further. Every ounce of her wanted him, but not in the way it did for most. She hated this feeling, loved it too. Her focus was solely on him and she wanted to remedy it, and these weird feelings that were not her own. Her tail flicked like an angry felines, whipping through the air and twitching every few seconds. He was trying to be dominating, something she didn’t like, something she wanted to challenge more, but she held her ground. Already he had put marks on her and while she enjoyed the fight she did have reason sometime. Her eyes moved all over him looking for a moment to move in to do something, but her ears twitched listening for the tell tale signs of paws coming back. Surely the black female probably heard the scuffle by now, and while Kattari liked a good fight she enjoyed a bit of a fair fight more.

”I doubt that.” She growled at his words, saying he was stronger, saying that she wouldn’t kill him. ”You don’t know me, I will be haunting you, I will find out where you live and sleep. I am sure I will find my way to your heart, and I will kill anyone who gets in my way of it.” She growled. She wondered if that thought scared him, that she would rip through any innocent members she had to if it meant getting to him at the end of the tunnel. One by one she would see they fall until only he was left. That wouldn’t last forever. No he seemed the nobel type. Least with this stance, these words and the fact he wasn’t already fighting back and trying to kill her first. Maybe he couldn’t, and what was more he offered information to further challenge her.

”Those who want your life just forfeit theirs, no one shall have your heart, or life but me. She hissed. She would find out somehow who wanted him dead, regardless of the reason. They would not dare unless they wanted to die too. She would hunt them to the ends of the earth if they neared him. Then he brought up his heritage, his parents…. ”And you think they will stop me? Please, send your assassin dogs after me. I welcome the challenge.” She said grinning ear to ear. The stiffness of her neck hurt of course but the idea thrilled her that they would hunt her for this. A prince of all the wolves she could desire, to imprint on. His words didn’t intimidate her, they excited her. The son of an assassin and a warrior was a prize indeed. Her soul as well. He would be invaluable to her growing stronger.

She had to have him.

”If that is what it takes I will take it then too, but I won’t wait that long if I can help it.” The voice though of a female stopped her. Not today, perhaps not tomorrow. She would be back for him. Just he wait, that heart, his ‘heritage’ would be hers. Kattari spotted the black fem coming up the way and the black female, his mother he presumed certainly saw her. Turning Kattari sprinted up and out of grotto away from them. She would be back, and next time if that female stopped her, interrupted, she would be dead too.
