I have other fans beside Irene Bill.
Received this from a regular on this site,a real Gentleman too boot.

Hiya Bill
you joke on the site this morning, reminded me of a similar (true story)
I had a lovely old mate,oh a right scouser!,an ex police sgt of the docks police force, and a fanatical Liverpool supporter, we used to go the all the united Liverpool games together, I became the shift manager of a pharmaceutical coy.,and as he had just retired for his police job ,hhe came to work for us as the security supervisor, we got on like a house on fire!, sadly he got cancer and was admitted to the cancer hospital in Liverpool, I used to got to see him, and he kept his wicked sense of humour right to the end e.g ,on one occasion he needed a blood transfusion, I was with him, when the doctor came in to tell him
He said to the doc...don't get any blood of this git!1,me☻the doc asked him why, he said..."I`d hate to wake up. Singing ,glory, glory man united!"
That's what I call a sense of humour Bill
Sadly Bill,he died later that week
Still think about him,and smile,what a guy

Always good memories to cherish.
Cheers William.
