Alistair raised his head slightly as she spoke, his stark white eyes quizzical as they trained themselves on her lips. It was amazing, truly, how far he had come in that area, being able to understand not just the common tongue but Latin as well, thanks to Solaris. His deafness, while irritating at times, was no longer the detriment that it had been. The male needed no more breaks or allowances, he was as functional as a hearing wolf although perhaps without constant eye contact. 'Thank you, truly Alistair.' The words caused a strange feeling to swell in his chest. Pride? He couldn't be sure- but it was certainly not a bad thing, to be thanked. His promotion although welcome was not entirely surprising, after all Solaris had recommended him and he had completed his task.
He was pleased with the fact that he had chosen to bring the information to Zelda rather than act on it himself. It seemed that the situation would turn out much better with the way he had handled it. It would have, of course, been incredibly easy for Eden to deny any accusation thrown at him- although Alistair was disillusioned with the seaside alpha, the man was an exceptional liar. Causing issues between Taviora and Glorall without the permission of Zelda, regardless, would have hardly helped his cause either. His face fell slightly when the Goddess spoke of Moteuh- there was no mystery to be solved there, it was clear who had done it, that snake in the grass Aranck. Alistair lowered his head. "You are right, Lady Zelda. Things will become clear in time."
Her question caused him to shake his head slightly. "I just wish to say if you need me, for anything at all, I am at your command. I know things have been..." Alistair swallowed, his face a bit awkward. "...difficult for you, as of late. I am at your service, and at the service of the pack, and am ready and willing to do whatever you wish of me." He hoped that his words would perhaps make her feel more at ease, knowing that she had him at her disposal. He had been loyal to Amoxtli, to Hyrule and now to Zelda, Taviora was his home and whatever worthy ruler oversaw it, he would serve.
