Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

OF PAN & NIVIAQ | LOST SOUL | BLEEDING HEART | LONER

Her golden tail waved slowly, black and green eyes watching the same aged wolf with gilded interest. There were not many like her, not many of their stature willing to deal with the wilderness on their own. After all things were perhaps harder for them than any other, but what they were different and what she would soon learn was she was more aware of what dangers she was in. She knew of the night beast, of the cannibals, the general threat they faced living in Moladion with no Pack to back them up. It wasn’t all sunshine and butterflies. Perhaps her father instilled that lack of ignorance upon her. Panik always had been smart, just not as much as her late father, the genius Pan who was known for his insufferable amounts of knowledge and lack of emotion because of it. Still she always loved her father, even if she wasn’t sure if he truly felt the emotion of love back. Panik was sort of a good combination of both her parents. She was logical, but not overly so that she lacked all emotion.

She watched as her poke went seemingly unnoticed at first. Nikki blinked her black and green eyes for a moment a bit confused on how he could be that unaware out here. It didn’t dawn on her maybe he was so naive that he didn’t worry about anything out here. She didn’t ponder the conundrum very long, as the male finally did begin to stir making Panik’s golden tail wave about somewhat eagerly. His soft voice made her grin and she took a few paces back again before planting her rear upon the ground to observe him as he woke. He stays in his laying position regarding her easily and very calmly, even his question was interesting.

”Oh no, I just got here and thought I would bug you!” She replied cheerily, continuing to look him over trying to figure out what made him tick. It was hard to say sometimes what made some wolves run, but Panik believed they all ultimately were of the same ground and none were better than the other. Big or small of royalty or not, they all died and went to the next plain as much as the other wolf.

”My name’s Panik, what’s your name? You don’t smell like you are from around here. Did you come from far away?” She was of two minds really. The split of which parent held her personality the most was hard to figure out. Panik on one hand really was curious of all things, on the other really was a happy loving wolf who wanted to believe all was good in the world even when it wasn’t. The critical thinking, and free loving minds were hard to combine and still was still growing, learning about herself and others. This male was just one more step on her long journey of self discovery of who she was.
