Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He hated leaving his sister like that but he needed to know of adventure. He had no idea that his parents were so close tos aying goodbye or maybe he wouldn't have gone. He felt bad about ti now, seeing as he wasn't here to say goodbye and wasn't here for Samia. He wished he could go back but since he couldn't, he would show her from now on that he would be here for her. He hoped to somehow retie the bonds with their other siblings and go visit with them. Natu and Fenrir would want them to stay close, to continue to be a family. He was glad that Samia had chosen to stay in Glorall though. This was their home. He couldn't imagine himself living anywhere else. It was a bonus that Eden was still their protector because he didn't know how he would feel if there were anyone else in charge, someone without the same ideals. She seemed happy enough that I was here with her, the smile on her face able to light up any cavern or dark place.

At her sudden words that he could handle a bad taste, he pretended to be hurt, his eyes widening in shock as his ears flicked back.

"WELL, DEAR SISTER, TELL ME HOW YOU TRULY FEEL ABOUT MY SENSITIVE PALATE."

He offered a small ghost of a smirk but only until she told him it would be good practice for him to get poisoned so she could get an antidote. His brows furrowed as if wondering if she truly meant it.

"COULD YOU NOT PRACTICE THAT ON SOMETHING LESS IMPORTANT, LIKE I DON'T KNOW, A CRAB OR SOMETHING?

When I told her that I would be staying in Glorall, she seemed all too happy, her tail wagging as she giggled and he could only grin at her, sharing in her delight. She stepped up to him, licking his cheek as she exclaimed that he was staying. He laughed and nodded. When he flicked dust at her, she suddenly headbutted his shoulder and then asked if he knew. He paused, his head tilting at this sudden change of events.

"KNOW WHAT?

He just had to know now that she had brought it up. She stepped back, looking back and forth as if she was about to speak of conspiracy and his ears braced forward, eager to pick up on whatever was going to come out of her mouth next. His eyes twinkled with eagerness, but then she said he had to be fast and he smirked.

"I AM ALREADY FAST, THOUGH. YOU WOULD KNOW THAT IF YOU DIDN'T CHEAT ALL THE TIME!

He cried the last part at her as she tore off down the beach, laughing as he launched himself after her. He broke stride for stride, pushing himself faster until he could feel the distance between them dwindling. His tail swished behind him as he raced for her flanks, snaking his neck out to try to nip playfully at her tail and hindquarters.
