Disaster has struck!

I am Bandit. Her fear was only building the longer they stood here talking and he knew it would only be a matter of time before she made a run for it. Luckily, he could smell the forest pack on her fur so he knew where she would be running. Any scared little girl always tries to run home and she would be too scared to think of taking a wide route. She would want to get there fast so she would want to go the straight path so as long as he blocked it, she would panic more and not think clearly. That was always his greatest weapon in catching girls like this. She has just enough spirit to cause him interest but she was weak in mental strength so she was perfect for mending just the way he liked. She would be a perfect toy. She told him that her dad gets worried when she's gone too long and he shook his head, trying to reassure her. "HE WOULD BE FINE IF HE KNEW YOU WERE WITH ME, LITTLE CHICA. I'LL EVEN SEND HIM A MESSAGE TO LET HIM KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AND THAT YOU'RE SAFE. DON'T YOU WORRY." Of course, that was a lie, but she didn't have to know that. He would try to talk her into coming willingly or he would just take her as he was going to do anyway. Either way, she would be coming with him today. He wanted to play a little. He knew that eventually others would come looking for her but it's not like he hadn't dealt with that before. He would evade them and use her scent to lead them astray just like he did before. He would keep them guessing on where he was keeping her and never stay in one place too long. He knew how to play this game. He had been playing it for a long time. She took a step back and the corner of his lip curled in displeasure. He wanted her to know early on that trying to escape was a no-no. Soon enough he would have her trained that any disrespect or talk of wanting to leave him would only lead to punishment. He always had them trained in the end. When he stepped forward, it caused something in the girl to snap and she said she was sorry before she turned and ran. He snarled as he took off after her, enjoying this little gave of chase and loving the fact that he had seen tears in her eyes when she ran. He knew he could outpace her with his longer legs but luckily for him, she was also clumsy which made the catching part all the more easy. She caught her foot on a rock and tumbled to the ground with a yelp. Now he would have to move quick because others might have heard that and come looking. He circled around in front of her, making a tsk-tsk noise with his tongue as he looked down at her with feigned concern. "NOW YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO RUN, SOMA? YOU GET YOURSELF HURT. IF YOU'D HAVE JUST COME QUIETLY THEN YOU WOULDN'T BE IN THIS PREDICAMENT. NOW I'LL HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU AND NURSE YOU BACK TO HEALTH. YOUR FATHER WOULDN'T WANT YOU RETURNING TO HIM IN THIS CONDITION, NOW WOULD HE?" He moved in closer and suddenly pressed his paw down on the injured limb, just enough pressure for now to get her attention as he leaned in close and whispered in a slithery voice. "NOW LISTEN HERE AND LISTEN GOOD, NIŅITA. MAKE ONE PEEP AND YOU'LL BE CRYING ABOUT A LOT MORE THAN YOUR PAW. I'M GOING TO HELP YOU BUT I CAN ONLY DO THAT IF YOU COOPERATE, OKAY?" His eyes bored into her, waiting for her to nod or whimper or anything to let him know that she understood pain would only come if she tried to struggle. Then he snatched her up by her scruff and tore off toward a den he had chosen for their first night. It was far enough away from where he had met her to make the trail that much harder to find and he knew how to make things harder. He took a longer path, making circles and going through creeks to help hide his scent and sent any trackers looking in circles literally while trying to find where they had gone. He would send them on a wild goose chase and stay ten steps ahead of them at all turns. Finally they reached the den and he made sure it was a maze in itself that way if the girl got any ideas about trying to escape. He took plenty of twists and turns, many of them unnecessary in case she tried to track their path and once he knew they were far enough in that no one would hear them, he would "accidentally" hit her injured paw on stuff while walking just to distract her with pain so she would lose track of where they were going. Finally he reached the little open cavern that he liked and set up for them and he all but tossed her into the corner. Snickering in victory, he went over to his herb bundle and got out a few things. He brought her over some poppy seeds and some other herbs and laid them out before her. "THE SEEDS WILL HELP WITH THE PAIN AND THE OTHERS WILL MAKE IT HEAL FASTER. YOU CAN'T GET BACK HOME ON THREE LEGS, NOW CAN YOU? EAT UP. THE FASTER YOU HEAL, THE FASTER I CAN ESCORT YOU BACK TO YOUR FATHER." He knew to keep reminding her of home, it would make her want to cooperate, if only in teh slim hopes that he was actually going to help her. She was young and naive. She would want to heal fast and when she eat the other herbs, she would fall asleep almost instantly. He needed to set some things up and he needed her to sleep to do that. Couldn't have her watching him all the time, now could he?
