Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He was a little disappointed that she got side tracked so easily, going from wanting to hunt down the predators that were causing so much trouble to suddenly wanting to go to Glorall but she wasn't really the type of wolf you question. She had a domineering attitude about her and while Thor didn't let her get a whiff of fear off of him, he was careful how he went about interacting with her, aware that she was unpredictable and any sudden movement or action that could be taken as dominant could flip a switch and leave him at her mercy. He wouldn't risk her anger but he was also curious to see what would come of this. Why did she want to go Glorall so badly? Did she know someone here? Did she live here at some point? He wanted to ask but he figured it best for now just to watch and see. She had a piercing stare about her and she focused it on him expertly as they walked. He felt almost like he was walking through an xray machine, someone looking at all of his parts in great detail and picking out where he was wanting.

But he knew he was strong and fit. He was going to be a warrior for Glorall. Eden would see to it. She wouldn't find any obvious weakness on him. He didn't have a defect and he was active. He had been training himself vigorously for four years and now he was ready to take his place in the world of Moladian. He was ready to take a stand. Every time he chose to speak, she would flatten her ears like his very voice disturbed her. He didn't understand, his own ears flicking back in concern. Did it really hurt or was it just her personality? Should he whisper from now on? When he was silent, she seemed to be more the most relaxed. When she clacked her teeth, he slowed down to turn to her, ears pricking to give her his attention. She told him to take her to the leader and he scowled thoughtfully. Why did she want to see Eden? What would he do if she attacked him? Would Eden blame him and kick him out of Glorall? He was unsure of this but he kept his expression unreadable.

When they reached the borders, she went to work sniffing and he paused to patiently wait for her. She must be taking in the scents of the wolves who did border patrol and more importantly, the wolf who did the most marking. She was identifying Eden as the alpha here. Finally she looked up and found him again, her teeth clacking once more and he tilted his head, waiting for her to speak again.

"EDEN. HIS NAME IS EDEN. AND I AM THOR."

He hoped that was the answers she was looking for. Then there was the whole manner of wanting him to take her to the leader. Could he just take her on a tour through the pack lands instead? He didn't want to bother Eden without good reason and he was uncertain of her intentions with him. It was one thing if she wanted to join the pack or something. He might even get points for that from Eden since she seemed like she would be a strong ally. But it would be a whole different story if she chose to attack Eden. What to do?
