Hazy eyes of opal blink a few times as he focuses in on the white young one before him. He remembers being her age, and how time has slowly begun to crawl upon his form. Many wolves do not make it to 13 winters like he did- so he was grateful that he was able to survive so long. He mother and father just died this year, so hopefully he has many more moons to roam the plains of Moladion. She seemed nice enough as he looked over her though. He pushed himself up upon his black haunches, now showing his full size. He was larger than she, and thus his eyes were slightly downcast as he kept his gaze upon her as she replied to him. She replied with a question, and he flickered a star-touched ear.
"I am not as others. I do not tend to sleep upon the same schedule as most others," he said frankly, eyes flickering to the horizon ahead. The field was clear and quiet aside from the wind and the voice of the young one before him. The horizon was starting to sport the slightly listening blue of the coming dawn.
He found his opal eyes returning to her as she speaks of not finding it pleasant to sleep alone. She did not seem to smell of many wolves, and perhaps is not that of a pack wolf. He had returned to Taviora after his move to Iromar, and his mate leaving for a place unknown. Becoming a member of a pack can sure ease such worries, but beasts of the night? Sure, he was out of touch in many ways, but he had not heard or seen any extrodinary beasts as of late...does not mean they do not exist. His star-touched brows furrowed a bit with interest, the fog of sleep lightening up now.
"Perhaps the company of a pack would suit you for a restful slumber going forward. What of these beasts you speak of, though? I have had...too much on my mind to really pay attention," he said, knowing he should probably be a bit more aware of these things. He Knew Taviora was a welcoming place, and was rather certain that if she got along with others that they would welcome her. Taviora was always a place that welcomed him. For now though, he focused in on these beasts that the young one speaks of.
