Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Beltran

As he continued on, the smell of swamp reached him. Beltran could make out water in the scent, but as a whole, it was strange. It seemed almost musty to his nose. These lowlands were not ideal, he noted. There was no harm in exploring, but he still had that air of uncertainty in an unfamiliar. Then there was a scent of the living. Definitely female. He always wondered why their scents were different from he and his male cohorts, though never felt it necessary to ask. As a result, Beltran could only wonder.

The stranger spied the dark coated male before he caught sight of her. Beltran paused, shifting uncomfortably at the sound of her voice. Why did everyone feel the need to speak? Her warning seemed odd, but he nodded his head slightly, acknowledging her words. Though he did managed a single questioning utterance, "Swamp?" It was a new term for the brute. His green eyed gaze lingered on Bryce warily. He was somewhat wary of the female, being this was quite unfamiliar territory than Beltran was accustomed to. He continued to remain on high alert, knowing that letting his guard down could mean certain death. After a moment, he managed a more solid and to the point question, his gruff voice hiding his uncertainty, "What sort of monsters?"
