Winter in March IP: 22.214.171.124 Posted on March 10, 2017 at 10:34:03 AM by T
This winter hasn't been too bad here in CNY compared to normal.
We have had some big snowfalls, but then those were followed by
mild temperatures and all the snow would melt. Now we are into
the 2nd week of March and it looks like winter is finally
setting up to stay for a little while.
The coldest air will come in for Saturday with temperatures
only reaching the teens with a brisk wind. Lake effect
snow showers will be around south and southeast of the lake.
2 - 6" of snow in many places here in CNY. Sunday and Monday
will remain quiet but cold. Then we watch a storm coming
up the east coast on Tuesday. This storm has the potential
of some very heavy snow anywhere from here down to the big
cities of NYC, Philly, and Boston and maybe even Washington D.C.
We return to quiet weather for the rest of next week, but
it will remain chilly with temperatures only in the 30's.
I think that after next weekend (17th and 18th) we should
see some moderation to our temperatures and we will see
some chances of mild temperatures.
