The cold blustered against her dark coat, running its chilly fingers through the thick gray strands in a futile gesture. Winter caused her already thick coat to gloss and shine ever brighter in the cold sunlight as she moved fluidly across the mountainside. As she moved the light caught the silvery guard hairs that feathered her body and gave her a halo of sorts amongst the dark trees and foliage of the slopes, an angel amongst the darkness as it were. She wasn’t entirely sure why she had decided to come out today, why the pull in her chest was stronger now than it had been in many seasons, but it wasn’t a call she could deny. The dark boy with eyes like ice rimmed in fire haunted her dreams on many a night and the feeling that he was close now grew ever stronger and had drug her out onto the chilly slopes.

It wasn’t long until she heard his voice, cold like the snow and so close it caused a chill to creep up her spine that had nothing to do with the weather. Looking down the slope she could see him now, his coat standing in stark contrast to the wintry world around them as did her own. Her face turned to a mask of veiled intrigue and curiosity though with no small amount of trepidation. She took a few steps down the hill before pausing. “And so you’ve found me,” she called, intrigued to see why he had come for her but no less concerned that he had seen fit to walk so uninhibited into her home. Not that Spirane tended to turn away visitors so long as their intent was honorable, yet she felt that was not so much the case here.

She didn’t know much about him, her apprehension coming more from instinct and the hungry glint in his eyes, but she was confident in her ability to fend for herself. After all she was the daughter of Daenerys, the sister to dragons, and she was strong.
