Nari.
The sun was setting when the dark woman slipped back within the sea-pack’s boarders, making her way easily over the shifting sands thanks to her light physique with her prizes clutched tightly between her silent lips. Two feathers patterned intricately and plucked from a rather plump quail which has also served as her dinner. No doubt they would serve to entertain her children, something they could chase after and that would help hone their coordination. That was ever her goal, to prepare them for the realities that awaited once they were out on their own. It was one of the few things she had to give them since she would never be able to offer an opinion or advice of her own.
Not that she minded for Nari was not he gently mothering type, instead teaching with curled lip and a well-placed paw in methods that were far from conventional. Still she was proud of the strength which both of their children had shown in their own ways and felt Eden was as well, in his own way. She hadn’t seen him as of late which was fine enough with her, she respected him and enjoyed the time they spent together but she didn’t want to rely on anyone unless necessary. Finally as the sun cast golden rays over the water she padded up to the den and set down the feathers, placing one paw atop them so they wouldn’t yet blow away in the breeze, and huffed and odd kind of summons to her children wondering if perhaps Eden would visit them tonight.
