He had lived here most of his life, only in the woods for so long as a young one. Things had changed, and the ones he remembered no longer held sight or scent. There remained some from the days of the shadow and monster, but he had interacted little with them. Asteraia was his home though, and for now he had no intent to leave it for good. However, the drive to see the one who draws him near and how he feels she has answers still beckons him to leave every now and then. He planned to return to the fields, and to the den he shared with the shadow, fire, and monster, always wondering if they would make a mysterious return.
His black ears flicker. Red eyes gaze forward, but move slightly with the movement of someone else. He directed his eyes and ears in the direction. The fields had an advantage and disadvantage- it was harder to hide. He was still a distance away from the one who draws his attention. Their appearance was that of black and red, but initially he does not pay much mind to the other. He indeed had a mission in his own mind. An innate drive that he could not stop. Thus his paw legs pound forward, ignoring the other for now.
Well, at least for a few moments. The movement from the other did not stop. In fact, the other followed him. It was difficult to initially tell if they were going to be a threat, but now he felt he must assert himself and ensure that there is indeed no threat.
The large male of black and white turned, red eyes locking onto the much smaller figure who decided to follow him. Perhaps she desires to follow, that her instinct is similar to that of his Lonhro who Singe had to guide every now and then. However, there was something about her as he looked upon her that told him that this was not the case. He stands still and tall, head lowered and forward slightly. His ruff puffed slightly as he looked at her, silence between them as words do not initially come to him. However, after a moment they do come.
"Is doing?" he asked as best he could, her voice firm but slightly slowed. He was learned the way of speech better now, but he is very much not the best speaker of the common tongue.
