Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

heros may die...but legends endure

She hadn’t been expecting anything, let alone on her first try. She sat in the twilight, waiting, watching, listening. She was growing on edge as the sun began to sink lower over the horizon. Her warriors had dealt with one for the time being… right on the very borders of Taviora even, they were growing bolder going into the pack lands, it was making things far more dangerous for everyone involved. She took a deep breath steadying herself. If she was nervous, but she needed to get over her fears. Fighting was her obvious weakpoint. If a bear or cougar were to happen upon her now well things likely wouldn’t go well if caught out here on her own. Still that was also why she was here. She needed to learn and normal training with warriors just wasn’t really doing it for, it should she had warrior's blood coming from all sides but she just… couldn’t. Something wasn’t clicking like it should, that was why she was out here, trying to find a teacher that could.

The back instantly caught Zelda’s attention, causing her teal and mahogany cracked gaze to shoot over to the mis matched eyed female, turning her body in turn into a stand as she faced her. She was younger, certainly not the elder wolfess she had been seeking, then why did she come? She looked over her duel colored form, eyes wandering over her before once again settling on her gaze. She didn’t move, and she wasn’t scared at all. Zelda watched her carefully it certainly seem like she wasn’t terribly enthused but if she wasn’t Malina why was she here?

She had come though because Zelda was searching for Malina though, that was obvious at her words. ”Yes. I had been told she was an assassin, that maybe she could teach me. I wasn’t sure where to look for her since I was told Diveen was no longer her home so I went searching the free lands. Do you know her?” Since formalities seemed to be lost Zelda didn’t introduce herself just yet either, though her tones were still light and kind the auburn girl could tell this was a more… matter of fact wolfess. She didn’t want to waste time it seemed and Zelda felt similar, not with night drawing near and she didn’t seem to be any more closer to finding her quarry.
