It had been a long time since he left the land of his birth. Arturio left there once to seek out his family, only to return alone. After a few months of no sign, the near giant male decided to travel. The white wolf had a knack for helping others, even living up to his own name as a hero from ancient legend. His large paws moved easily across the earth. He was uncertain of where he had found himself, but it seemed like a reasonable place to linger for awhile. His bright emerald green eyes surveyed the area in the slowly fading light. A small frown creased his maw. He would need to find a spot to rest for the night at some point. It was still light enough that he could maneuver easily, so it would be alright.
His ears swiveled at the sounds of insects buzzing and chirping birds. The region was populated, with something, at least. Arturio moved around the Crags carefully, being mindful of his step as the sound of trickling water reached his ears the more he moved along the rocky terrain. The wolf's fur rustled in the fall breeze. He closed his eyes briefly, taking in the smells and sounds of the area. This would certainly be a decent place to settle for the night. Art opened his eyes, casting a look around, figuring there was some sort of cave system within the rocky region. He kept his eyes peeled as he continued.
For this being a new place, it seemed relatively safe. Not much was notorious for striking out at Arturio. He was built for strength, and it showed as he walked. Of course, he was also fairly agile for his size. If he had been shorter but built the same, the brute would hardly be a force to contend with. It made sense given he was proportionate. It was rare that other creatures bothered him, even rarer for other wolves. But that didn't stop the crazies or the ravenous. Usually the white male was stepping into the fight, protecting and aiding those less capable, or in need of assistance in some fashion. Art kept on his path, pausing now and again to inspect potential openings for an unoccupied cave. So far, he wasn't having much luck.
