. CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site
There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities.
This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only.
We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund.
Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster.

There will be an informal Albuhera lunch held in the Association Room at RHQ on Thurs 18 May. The lunch is open for all Fusiliers regardless of service. The event has not taken place for a few years but in the past was popular among ex Royal Fusiliers and ex 3RRF in particular.
The Battle of Albuhera on 16th May 1811 is remembered as a very proud day in Fusilier history. To that end it would be great to get a good turnout to mark this very special battle honour and ensure that we strive to celebrate outstanding feats in the history of our Regiment.
The catering will be a standing buffet style in order to not be limited by table space. For those that like to or need to sit down there will be seating available. The bar will be a cash bar and will open at 1230.
The dress is collar and tie for men and appropriate equivalent for women. Anyone wishing to attend must book in advance. This will assist the organiser in ordering the correct quantity of catering and also ensure guests are permitted entry to the Tower on the day.
Lunch will cost £10.00 per head. Payment to be made in cash at the bar on the day.
