I am Bandit. He stalked through the thick grass before his claws skidded across the smooth granite of the rocks that meant he was in the crags now. He didn't want to hang around the grotto too long. Others might figure out that he had a den nearby where he was keeping a certain scared little girl. He moved her around a lot when she was sleeping. It helped that it was usually a deep sleep thanks to the herbs he had mnaged to forage beforehand. What Orb and Diesel didn't know wouldn't hurt them so when he was in control, he was quick to put things in play so that when he did get his quarry, he wouldn't have any hiccups. He was dubious that anyone would figure out what he was up to. Diesel, Mags, and Orb had no idea about Soma and what he had done. They steered clear of the cavern when he wasn't in control and they had no thoughts of any girl he had run into so he was in the clear, at least so far. But now he was on the hunt for a new prize. Not because Soma was boring or anything of the sort. Oh no, she was coming along swimmingly. She was going to be his masterpiece. But in the meantime, he needed some other way to bide his time. And he had just the activity in mind. He had come across the fair lady's scent not long ago and he had followed it here, waiting for a whisper that Orb was lurking and watching but so far he was dormant as always. It seemed since his last encounter with Elowen, he had been more quiet, more wrapped up in his own thoughts. He was crushing hard for the girl and Bandit hated to see it happen. She was a mistake. Too sweet, too innocent. That's not what Orb needed in his life, what any of them needed. Mags could sing her sweet love melodies all she wanted about their future together but they all knew that would never work. She wouldn't want him once she understood that the others came with him, that they weren't going anywhere. In fact, unbeknownst even to Orb himself for the most part...they were MULTIPLYING. Bandit himself had started to hear whispers in a child's voice, mostly when they were getting sleepy, when they were most vulnerable to switching personalities. There was giggling, a female's voice. Just what they need, another female. Mags was bad enough with her feeble voice and her flowery thoughts. Bandit hated it. Now he'd have to deal with a kid? Ugh, just ugh. But enough of that. He had a job to do. His lips tugged into a wicked sneer as he crouched low and moved closer to the edge of a small rocky cliff he found. Here, he would be sure to spot her. He peeked over the edge. And yes, there she was. Such a pretty little thing. Too innocent. He would change that for Orb then watch him run the other way. Oh yes, things would go back to the way they used to be. He glanced around and at first all he saw were strangers and a few rabbits and such. Even a fox danced around the crags, playing hide and seek with a snake, from the looks of it. Bandit rolled his eyes but kept looking. Then there she was. A blissful sight, sitting on the edge of another rock looking like she might be getting ready to doze off. His sneer only grew, a short chuckle falling from his lips as he moved around the outskirts, headed in her direction. Ah, but to trick her first. That would make it even better! His eyes gleamed with the thought of watching her face fall in disappointment so he looked away for a minute and rearranged his features. He needed to look the right amount of shy and dopey. That's it. As he got closer to her, he was the image of Orb, sure it would trick her. He even tried his hardest not to show his accent so he could speak in a hesitant voice like him.
