Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Pay me my dues...

Father and son seemed to wisp over the trails leading from the pack land into the freelands. They took advantage of the daylight to test their skills and for Tithe to teach his offspring more about the world and the way it worked. They hit the trails with their paws, careful to explore everything in case of the event they would need to take note of it. Bazyl in general was still curious about many of the intricacies of the outside world. His young mind continued to grow with every day, swiftly starting to resemble the grown wolf his body was starting to display. His knowledge, and his form however, continued to be awkward at times and unrefined.

Steal ears perked forward at a scent and a sound. Another wolf had been here and was walking calmly along the trails. Tithe’s iron colored gaze glanced at the copper boy to watch the reaction of the youth. It was not long before Bazyl picked up on the presence of a stranger. He voiced a small ‘woof’ to alert his father before taking the lead and increasing his stride. As he approached the spotted wolf his body language became open and welcoming, but polite. He waved a greeting with his tail and yipped in his youthful voice. Greetings, stranger. The youth called out, eager to take the lead with his father present and presiding over the situation. He faultered, unsure of how to proceed. May we help you?

Just behind him, Tithe lingered. His hulking bulk just as calm and collect, polite and relaxed. It was obvious that neither of the wolves meant harm towards the stranger, but nor did they show they would be a pushover in case of a fight. In Tithe’s case, since his son saw the world through similar mirroring eyes and their pelts nearly identical save in color, assuming they were blood was no misjudgement. It was clear this was a father watching over his son’s actions in the world, waiting in the wings to catch him in case of a large misstep.

Or I'll take what I'm owed.
