Four species of Geese -- Tiny Marsh

Hi All,

On Monday there were hundreds of CANADA and dozens of SNOW GEESE in a flooded farm field on Tiny-Flos Townline.

With a scope, we were able to make out two ROSS' GEESE in this same field.

At Tiny Marsh itself, we observed two separate groups of CACKLING GEESE for a total of 16 birds.

There were many (two hundred?) TUNDRA SWANS among these two sites as well.

We also had nice looks at NORTHERN PINTAIL, GREEN-WINGED TEAL, AMERICAN WIDGEON, and REDHEAD, among others.

GLAUCOUS GULLS of various ages were numerous in the flooded farmland.
