Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He listened, but had a bit of caution to him. I considered this as I remember meeting this one's uncles when they were pups. Forward and stubborn. I had to smack them into place. They are of my blood, and my blood will know who The Keeper is. The young boy sniffs the air, using his senses to figure out what is going on. I know I have not visited yet, but I don't need an introduction from his mother.

I watch over his body language as I speak, seeing if he shows confusion with the Latin tongue. It appears he may understand some, but perhaps not all. That is to be expected at his age, I suppose. Young ones unfortunately cannot absorb as much as I think they should in such a quick fashion.

He questions the word willed, and I find my static face giving a slightly twitch of a raised brow for but a second as I let my copper eyes continue to stare at him. It is unfortunate he has not learned such an important word.

"Yes, willed. To make something happen. Your force- your being, has the power to do many things. I made you by making your mother- I made her through Eden. Your blood, is my blood. Sanguinem, sanguinem," I say as I keep my eyes fixed on him to see if he understands my words. Perhaps some find it uncomfortable to be stared at relentlessly, but he needs to get used to it. This one needs something different than his Uncles needed.

"Closer. Respect me- but do not be shy," I demand, lifting a single paw to motion slightly towards me, welcoming him to sit between my paws and at my chest. Will he dare even try? Or will his caution hold him back?

"My great grand child, one day, you will spread your blood, your blood which is from me, but keep in mind, only the best of blood will do," I say with the slightest tilt of my head. I have to start them early thinking of these things. His blood is not to be spread and shared, and violated by low-lives. I sometimes...question Eden's actions on all the females he had decided to lay with, but in the end they were good enough specimens. Perfect? Not a single one of them.

"Tell me, what has your Mother taught you so far?" I ask, the question rather general on purpose. I wish to explore where his mind goes, and what he is thinking. I need to see where he is at before I can groom him to ensure he goes on the proper path. Males need this the most- and this one will not get lost from the proper ideals of my bloodline.
