He could tell something was off though he couldn’t put his paw on what exactly that was. Just their connection the way she moved, everything felt tense and nervous or electrified in some way. Nothing felt extrinsic, especially not when it came to her and their bond. Everything was a tell for something he was learning, albeit slowly. While he was still not used to the lands she was one thing he was familiar with. HIs fear of losing his family though was a thing. His memories and firmly detaching himself from hi Aztec family though was a fear especially now that he was far away from them. He wasn’t sure what triggered it as a child, but his grandfather had said that smelled of a different pack, though it was faded, he wasn’t sure where it was. Now that he was here would he forget about Taviora?

So far he was doing well, his paws steps were growing more used to the soft loamy dirt, it was not the home he grew up in. However he had chosen to go with her because he figured out over their time together in Taviora that he rather be without his home then her… he wasn’t sure what he could do for her, but he knew he would try to do something. Maybe become her thief or scout. Something to make sure that he could be of some help despite his lack of physical strength, certainly couldn’t be any help if there was some kind of fight…

When he saw Pine though coming for him his tail waved lightly he was happy to see her, happy to know she didn’t have too much to handle to day. Thankfully there was no fall out it seemed with her removal of Aranck, the land seemed to come back to life. She was pretty fantastic, he knew she probably had some worries but he believed in her and that had to count for something right? He wanted to make sure she was well though, but she seemed almost impatient, dismissive of the small talk. He silenced himself when she replied quickly wondering what was on her mind until she spilled it all on him quite suddenly. Burst out something else.

He was honestly stunned. He wasn’t sure how she felt, he knew he only wanted to be around her but he always felt.. Unworthy. Especially with her title now. Here she was though asking him to be her alpha, and… mate. He blinked his green-galaxy eyes his mind finally finding itself again and making it so he was able to reply. ”What.. I mean yes! But… why? You don’t want someone bigger? Stronger? I mean I want you to be happy, it’s all I want in the whole world, but…” He trailed off nervously it made him the happiest wolf in the world to know she wanted him, but he wanted to know if was really want she wanted too. Staying in her den also would be nice, he didn’t say it but he certainly missed her presence at night.

He loved her a lot but he didn’t want to say it out loud. Not yet at least. He did though and he knew it was part of the bond that drove these feelings but he didn’t care either. After all the time they spent together and the feelings he had, helped by imprinting or not was real. But they were mates now, he could feel she was being sincere too… she wouldn’t back down but for some reason he wanted to hear it too, selfish perhaps but he didn’t want her doing it just because of how they felt driven from the bond.
